Christine Clinton, chair of the GWI Wellness for Children Initiative, and
Andrea Jebb, founder of Junior Genius Ireland and Junior Genius Global, are delighted to announce the first Children’s Mental Health Symposium to take place in Dublin, Ireland May 20th 2023.

We will bring world renowned experts in the field of children’s mental wellness together; early childhood educators, curriculum development teams, clinical nutritionists, child psychologists, movement & mindfulness practitioners, autism specialists and  parents. Collaborating for the benefit of all children in the formative years.

Christine Clinton – Chair of the Wellness for Children Initiative and Co-Founder
Junior Genius Global

Christine brings over 33 years of experience and expertise in the health and wellness sector.
As a parent herself, she recognizes the need for support in children’s mental health
and advocates for change in how we prioritize children’s wellness  in the formative years. Christine worked in one of the largest private pre school franchises in The USA. She has developed massage therapy programs for infants and children and has taught this program internationally for many years.
Christine is certified in the First 1000 Days, Pre-Conception & Pregnancy Wellness and the First Two Years of Life with Dr Sergio Pecorelli.

She was the 2021 recipient of the prestigous Global Wellness Institute award for Leader in Furthering Mental Wellness.

Keynote Speakers 

Dr Mary O’Kane is a lecturer in psychology and expert in early childhood education. She is a regular contributor to Ireland AM and appears both nationally and locally on several radio shows.  Dr O’Kane is well known for her practical and supportive style.

Dr Sergio Pecorelli is a leading expert in the science of epigenetics. He is the co creator of the First 1,000 days of life, a program developed to understand the importance of  pre conception health, wellness in pregnancy and the first 2 years of life.  Dr Pecorelli was awarded the Gold Medal for Health Services and the lifetime achievement award by the International Gynecologic Cancer Society.

International Guest Speakers

Freddie Moross is the Managing Director of Myndstream, collaborating with international experts creating  music for health and wellbeing. In 2022Freddie was the Recipient of the Debra Simon Award for Leader in Furthering Mental Wellness. In 2023 Freddie became a Dad to beautiful baby Annie.

Julie Mallon is the Founder of Nurture2Sleep based in the UAE. Julie is a UK qualified nurse, midwife, and health visitor currently registered with the International Maternity and Parenting Institute. She has been supporting families through her wellness sleep program for many years.

Connie Morris is the founder of Budding Yoga and creator of A Powerful Pause. She has a masters degree in special education and has worked with autistic children in the school environment for over 20 years. Connie offers graduate coursework and professional development for educators using evidence-based practices in mindfulness, movement, wellbeing, and inclusion. 

Donna M Volpitta, ED.D. is the Founder and Education Director of Pathways to Empower, Donna Volpitta, Ed.D. makes the brain science of resilience and mental health easy to understand and apply. Her Resilient Mindset Model, which draws on the latest research in neurology.
